Tonight’s episode of The Apprentice saw the teams have to come up with new budget airlines.
It led to some rather hilarious moments, terrible outfits, awful names and even worse adverts.
Kurran Pooni was put in charge of team Collaborative, and it didn’t end very well for the budding actor.
Kurran ended up directing an advert for their budget airline, Jetpop, and he stood by it until the very end
The other team came up with an airline called ManageAir, and they ended up scraping through the task.
Kurran as project manager found himself back in the boardroom during Lord Sugar’s deliberation as to who should be fired, and he brought with him Camilla Ainsworth and Khadija Kalifa.
However, before they got the chance to fight their corners, Lord Sugar discussed the candidates with his trusted advisors, Karen Brady and Claude Littner.
This was when Karen really laid into Kurran and his poor advert.
“The thing that really bothers me is that he still thinks the advert is perfect,” she said.
Lord Sugar then replied: “Deluded”.
Another said: “Yeah hated him by the end – good riddance.”
A third viewer commented: “Well no surprise that Kurran got fired, it was obvious if he lost & he did, so therefore the inevitable happened.”
“Thank you very much @Lord_Sugar byeeeee Kurran,” added another viewer.
However, Kurran was still adamant his advert was, as he put it, “gold”, even in the taxi home.
The Apprentice 2018 airs on Wednesdays at 9pm on BBC One.
