What will happen next in The 100 season 5, episode 10?
Episode 10 of The 100 season five is titled The Warriors Will and hints at the inevitability of war between the different clans of the Wonkru.
The Warriors Will is going to be airing in America first on The CW on Tuesday, July 17.
British viewers can then catch the episode on Channel 4’s E4 the following day on Wednesday, July 18 at 9pm.
A shot episode summary reads: “Monty (played by Chris Larkin) strives to show Wonkru an alternative to war, and to the valley itself.
“Meanwhile, Abby’s (Paige Turco) health continues to deteriorate, along with McReary’s (William Miller) patience.”
The promo trailer for the forthcoming instalment gives fans a further glimpse into the direction of season five, which only has a handful of episodes left.
The preview opens with Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos) addressing her people sternly, telling them: “It doesn’t matter who you are, if you defy us then you are not us.”
She’s bathed in a sinister red light and has markings on her face, suggesting that she’s prepared for war if it comes to it.
“What happens if we don’t fight?” Bellamy asked in a scared tone, the fear clear in his eyes.
A phrase flashes up across the screen which really sets the tone for the episode: “Live by the sword – or die by it.”
Indra (Adina Porter) bluntly responds to the question: “You get executed. I’ll kill you quickly, I promise.”
The teaser cuts back to Octavia as it looks like she is getting ready for battle.
Again the scene changes and Indra is battling Bellamy as fighting gets underway in the arena.
The episode will pick up from the shocking events in episode nine called Sic Semper Tyrannis in which Octavia arrested her own brother, Indra and Gaia (Tati Gabrielle) and sentenced them to fight in the area.
It seems highly unlikely that anything will happen to fan-favourite Bellamy but his life could be put in danger by his own sibling.
Behind closed doors, Octavia was seen crying as she was forced to essentially sentence her brother to death for the sake of keeping the peace.
Sic Semper Tyrannis saw Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy divided after they disagreed on how best to ensure peace.
There was indecision over whether Madi’s (Lola Flanery) ascension would ensure peace but Gaia performed the ceremony anyway and directly disobeyed Octavia’s wishes.
Meanwhile, Clarke escaped with Maidi and it looks like it could be up to her to save Bellamy.
There also looks like there will be further trouble ahead after villain Charmaine Diyoza (Ivana Milicevic) evaded capture and is now on the run.
She looks set to be bringing more chaos and disorder when she does show up again.
The 100 season 5 airs on E4 on Wednesdays at 9pm
