What time does Power come on Netflix UK?

Power season five has just two episodes left before it reaches what is likely to be a bloody end.

Though American viewers of the drug-dealing drama starring Omari Hardwick and 50 Cent get to watch the show on Sundays at 8pm on Starz, UK viewers have to wait until Monday morning before the latest episode drops on Netflix.

The show arrives on Netflix every Monday at 8am.

This means that fans of the show can see the final two episodes of the season, titled There’s a Snitch Among Us and When This is Over, on Monday, September 2 and September 9 at 8am respectively.

After a week’s break, the latest episode, A Friend of the Family, dropped onto Netflix yesterday morning.

The episode saw Angela Valdes (played by Lela Loren) and Tasha St. Patrick (Naturi Naughton) frame one of the characters for the murder of Raymond “Ray Ray” Jones (Marcus Callender) with tragic consequences.

Subscribers to Netflix can also catch up with the first four seasons on the streaming platform.

Seasons one and two are also available to watch on Amazon for £1.89 an episode.

Optionally, they can buy series passes for £12.99 and £14.99 for seasons one and two respectively.

What will happen in Power season 5?

The final two episodes with deal with the aftermath of one character’s death in A Friend in the Family.

Angel and Tasha framed Kanan Stark (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson), leading to his death in a police shootout.

The synopsis for There’s a Snitch Among Us reads: “Angela’s arrest of Alicia Jimenez (Ana de la Reguera) gives her a solid win as Head of Criminal, but she soon discovers plans that would undercut her career.

“Ghost (Omari Hardwick) tasks Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) in killing a snitch, which hits a little too close to home, changing all of their lives forever.”

However, in an interview with Deadline, showrunner Courtney Kemp and executive producer 50 Cent discussed what views had in store.

Kemp said: “Look, the death of Kanan is going to have some repercussions, mostly with Tommy Egan’s (Joseph Sikora) relationship with Ghost (Omari Hardwick).”

Jackson added: “The death of Kanan at this point, it ramps up everything.

“It also changes Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) and Tasha in different perspectives as everything starts to spin out of control.”

The show will also continue to explore the relationship between Tommy and his father Tony Teresi (William Sandler).

The two have only recently reconnected, but Tony is the snitch that Ghost orders Tommy to kill, making Tommy completely question everything in the last two episodes of Power.

Power drops weekly on Mondays on Netflix UK.
