Madeleine Alanna Casella and Edward Bernard Ruff IV were married June 23 at St. Thomas More Church in New York. The Rev. Kevin Madigan, a Roman Catholic priest, performed the ceremony.
The bride, 29, is the assistant to the director of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. She graduated cum laude from Colgate.
She is the daughter of Ann I. Casella and Mark J. Casella of Waccabuc, N.Y. The bride’s father is a senior partner at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in New York.
The groom, 35, is a vice president in the investment banking division of Citigroup in New York. He graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from which he also received a master’s degree in accounting. He also received an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt.
He is a son of Susan M. Ruff and Edward B. Ruff III of Hinsdale, Ill. The groom’s father is a managing partner in the Chicago law firm Pretzel & Stouffer.
The couple met in January 2016 in New York during a spin class at a SoulCycle studio.
