Love Island has already seen the winners of the 2016 series, Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde, have a baby together.
But now, Malin Andersson, who starred alongside the happy couple two years ago, has revealed she is also expecting a baby.
However, while Nathan, 25, and Cara, 27, met during the ITV2 show, the 25-year-old revealed that she found love elsewhere.
Speaking to The Sun, the reality TV star explained she is pregnant with her first child.
The make-up artist struck up a romance with painter and decorator Tom Kemp back in January – and the duo are now expecting a baby together.
Opening up about the good news, Malin explained that she felt “shocked”, before going on to discuss whether she thought the tot would be a boy or a girl.
“I am feeling quite shocked about being pregnant to be honest,” she told the publication. “It hasn’t sunk in yet.”
She continued: “My mum passed away in November and within the same year I will be bringing a new life into the world.
“I would like a girl. I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a girl as well.”
The loved-up star couldn’t help but gush over her new beau, as she revealed she met the 27-year-old on a night out, eight months ago.
“I met Tom back in November on a night out,” she divulged. “I met him a week before my mum died weirdly.
“We stayed in touch but I didn’t want to date around that time but he pursued me.”
Malin added: “We started dating end of January and we spend every day together, we are the same person it’s funny.”
The star went on to admit that she hadn’t managed to find love since breaking up with co-star Terry Walsh shortly after she left the show back in 2016.
Speaking about her new boyfriend, who already has two young children – including a nine-month-old baby – from a previous relationship, the Instagram sensation gushed: “He is 100 per cent my soulmate which is hard for me to say.
“I’ve been single since Love Island but this guy I really like. We just click.”
She added: “The worst thing is because we both have so much spare time we do so much random stuff together like canoeing and bike rides. And now he’s got me pregnant, brilliant.”
It came shortly after Chris Hughes, who starred in Love Island 2017, hit back at claims the show was “cursed”.
Insisting that the programme wasn’t responsible for a number of couples splitting just months after the end of the series, he told Express.co.uk: “A lot of couples are still together.”
Love Island returns tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
