Jim Davidson news: Star tells Piers Morgan divorces cost him £60 MILLION as he blames exes | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

The comedian, who is now married to his fifth wife Michelle Cotton, blamed his former spouses for the breakdown of their marriages as he reveals they cost as much as £60 million.

The 64-year-old revealed the shock news during the latest instalment of Piers Morgan‘s Life Stories, while revealing he hopes his stays with his current partner forever.

Jim wed Michelle back in 2009, nine years after splitting from Tracy Hilton, with whom he spent a decade with and has three children.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner before that walked down the aisle with Alison Holloway in 1987, but split the following year.

Jim was also married to Julie Gullick (1981 to 1986) and Sue Walpole (1971 to 1972), and he has one child with both of them.

The star said he “absolutely” thought it was always the woman’s fault for his failed relationships.

Jim commented: ”It’s how much money I’ve spent over the years. I don’t know, I’m not sure, getting on to 50, 60 million must have passed through my hands.”

On how he felt about that, he continued: “Brilliant. Thank God I had it. When I won New Faces I said, ‘mum you’ll never have to work again as long as you live’, and she never did.

“That’s alright, surely? She was a lazy cow, my mum.”

On his relationship with Michelle, Jim described her a “very nice” but “impatient” and “fiery like me”.

The father-of-five went on: “She’s a bear-poker and her mum says, ‘Well you need that’.

“I hope I’m with Michelle for the rest of my life, there’s no one better I’d want to spend the rest of my life with. Liz Hurley, perhaps?”

Jim also spoke about being arrested as part of Operation Yewtree, which he described as ”pretty traumatic” while detailing the impact it has had on him.

“I won’t now have a conversation with a woman in a room without someone else being there,” he said.

“I need to protect myself, I’ve been through the hell. I’m easy to accuse.”

Jim claimed rumours he had once had a cocaine-fuelled “twelvesome” were false, adding: “Actually it was nine and then three turned up later when we were asleep.”

Piers Morgan’s Life Stories: Jim Davidson airs tomorrow at 9.50pm on ITV.
