Jamie Daw, Benjamin Oseroff – The New York Times

Jamie Roberta Daw and Benjamin Henry Oseroff are to be married June 24 at Kurtz Orchards in Niagara-on-the-Lake, in Ontario, Canada. Debbie Van Dyke, who was ordained through Celebrating Life Ministries, is to perform the nondenominational ceremony.

The couple met at Harvard, from which the bride received a Ph.D. in health policy, and the groom a master’s degree in the same subject.

In August, the bride, 30, is to become an assistant professor of health policy and management at Columbia. She graduated summa cum laude from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and received a master’s degree in population and public health from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

She is the daughter of Ruth Ann Daw and James Daw of Brantford, Ontario. The brides parents are retired as owners of several small businesses in southwestern Ontario, including hardware stores in Paris, Ontario, and Brantford.

The groom, 29, is the manager of foundation relations at uAspire, a national nonprofit organization in Boston that works to improve college access and affordability. He graduated summa cum laude from Princeton and received a master of philosophy degree in the history and philosophy of science from Cambridge University.

He is the son of Dr. Stephanie H. Pincus of New York and the late Dr. Allan R. Oseroff. The groom’s mother retired as a dermatologist in Washington. She was most recently a scholar-in-residence at the National Academy of Medicine, also in Washington. His father was the chair of dermatology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo.
