Jacqueline Leigh Kahn and David William Sobel were married June 23 at the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia. Rabbi Jill Maderer officiated.
Mrs. Sobel, who is 29 and works in Philadelphia, is a management consultant for the Navigate Corporation, a management consultancy based in Chesterbrook, Pa. She graduated from Cornell.
She is a daughter of Mary Wilensky Kahn and Stuart J. Kahn of Philadelphia. The bride’s father is the owner of an insurance firm, bearing his name, in Bala Cynwyd, Pa.; he helps other companies design, implement and manage employee benefits programs.
In August, Mr. Sobel, 28, is to begin working as a research associate at Baron Funds, an asset management firm in New York. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, from which he also received an M.B.A. with honors.
He is a son of Stacey Gladstone Sobel of Westport, Conn., and Ricky G. Sobel of Greenwich, Conn. The groom’s mother is the executive director of Child Advocates of Connecticut, a nonprofit group in Norwalk; the group focuses on protecting abused and neglected children. His father is the general counsel of the Conair Corporation in Stamford, Conn.
The couple met at a dodgeball game in March 2014.
