Arya (played by Maisie Williams) has a been a integral part of Game of Thrones all the way through the series’ run.
Now one star has speculated on what will happen to her on the HBO drama.
Sean Bean bowed out of the fantasy epic in the first season after his character Ned Stark died in a shock exit.
The actor has said he’s watched the odd bit of the programme since he’s left, and he’s now guessed what will happen to his on-screen daughter Arya.
And it’s good news for Arya, if Sean’s predictions are anything to go by.
“Who’s left? Jon Snow is left, isn’t he? But Arya would have to be it,” the actor told Mashable.
“Yeah Arya will last — maybe she’ll be on the throne.”
So, will Sean’s prediction come true?
Meanwhile, Arya star Maisie has revealed she was alone in the last scene she shot for the programme.
“I ended on the perfect scene. I was alone – shocker! Arya’s always b****y alone,” the actress told The Guardian.
“But I was alone and I had watched a lot of other people wrap.
“I knew the drill, I had seen the tears and heard the speeches.”
However, as the scenes aren’t necessarily shot in order for the show, it doesn’t mean Arya will be alone for her very last scene.
It could just be that it was the last scene Maisie filmed.
Maisie has also teased that she would love to ruin the end of the series for a die-hard fan.
In an interview on The One Show, Maisie said she knew what it was like to have her favourite TV show spoiled.
“The show has grown, as we have, into this industry,” she said.
“We’ve got better at it, as it’s become more important to keep secrets.”
She added: “But also, I know what it’s like for someone to spoil my favourite TV show!”
Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic in 2019. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
