Sarah (played by Katie Hill) was recently diagnosed with heart failure in Emmerdale and is currently waiting for a transplant.
As she waited, Kim (Claire King) made her return to Home Farm where Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) was holding a charity ball.
Fans of the ITV soap know Kim will be pushed off a balcony at the party but it hasn’t been revealed if she will survive.
Now viewers have predicted her return will be short-lived and her death will lead to her saving Sarah.
Taking to Twitter to comment on the potential storyline, one fan mused: “Where Sarah is ill and awaiting a new heart I’m wondering if someone dies this week and she gets the heart?”
“I imagine Graham will realise he is being used by her, that she is a psycho, and it will be her who gets whacked, Sarah will have a Kim heart,” another wrote.
A third shared: “Whoever it is who pops their clogs, I wonder if Sarah will get their heart?
“She’s got to get on soon, she can’t stay in hospital, think of all that education she is missing.”
Could Kim be the one to save young Sarah?
Meanwhile, fans are currently speculating what Joe has planned after he appeared to be returning to Emmerdale despite being told by Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) to leave.
“I’m way too emotionally invested in #emmerdale I need ANSWERS. Spoilers. All the information. WILL JOE AND DEBBIE BE HAPPY !?” one fan asked.
Another added: “Well Joe wasn’t away for long… #Emmerdale.”
A third wrote: “Knew joe Tate @NedPorteous wouldn’t leave @emmerdale. Loving the fifty shades theme though. On the plus side I think it’s little Noah that pushes #kimtate to her death #Emmerdale.”
“Phew, Joe’s back! #Emmerdale,” another wrote.
The rest of the week is sure to be thrilling for viewers as they wait to find out exactly what will happen to Kim and if Debbie and Joe will reunite.
The official synopsis for Thursday’s double bill reads: “As the masquerade ball reaches its conclusion, Kim heads upstairs.
“Suddenly there is a scream and the partygoers are shocked when Kim is pushed down the stairs and sent crashing onto a champagne fountain below.
“Following the shocking turn of events, the guests decide to leave, but as they start to walk out they are met by the police, who tell them all to stay put so that they can be questioned.”
Who will get the blame?
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV at 7pm.
