Unlike restaurants that seem to deliver just about anything, whether pizza or whole meals, Laurence Edelman, the chef and an owner of Left Bank, a West Village bistro, has created a dedicated service just for chicken to go. Called Poulet Sans Tête, or chicken without a head, it stars juicy, heritage-breed chicken from a specially built rotisserie, either whole, half or quartered. Rich chicken soup, a salad with chicken, and a chopped “health” salad with cabbage and cucumbers are also on the menu. Delivery for now is limited to a one-mile radius; pickup is in the restaurant: Whole chicken, $21, Left Bank, 117 Perry Street (Greenwich Street), 212-727-1170, pouletsanstete.com.
